It sounds like Disney is brewing up some wicked surprises for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and fans are already buzzing about what that cryptic tease might mean.

In their official statement, Disney hinted, “For even more creepy character fun, keep your eyes peeled because you may see new and returning Disney Villains appear as you creep by through the streets.” Naturally, this has set off a flurry of speculation, and it begs the question: Who’s making a villainous comeback, and who’s debuting for the first time?

Could it be the return of Oogie Boogie, Dr. Facilier, or Cruella de Vil, casually lurking in the shadows? Will we see rarely spotted baddies like Yzma, Mother Gothel, or even the fan-demanded Horned King? And with Disney’s recent wave of villain-themed content, from a new Villains show coming soon to Disney's Hollywood Studios to a brand-new Villains-themed Magic Kingdom land, it wouldn’t be a shock if brand-new villain characters were introduced this year exclusively for the party.

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party go on sale May 15 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, as well as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green. Pricing varies by date. All other guests can purchase tickets beginning May 22. Since party nights often sell out, it’s best to plan ahead and buy your tickets early to secure your preferred date.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can once again enjoy discounted tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Tickets can be purchased online at Disneyworld.com/Halloween or by calling the Disney Reservation Center at 407-934-7639.

Party guests may enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, giving them up to eight hours of frightful fun before the event officially begins at 7:00 PM.

One thing’s for sure. If Disney is putting this kind of tease front and center, they’re cooking up something sinister (and seriously cool). So if you're heading to the party, keep your eyes peeled and your cameras ready because you never know which fiendish face might pop up behind the fog.

Who are you hoping to run into?
