I live in Celebration, FL and I absolutely love it. We are literally 8 minutes away from all four DIsney World theme parks.
We have an incredible apartment. I am blessed in so many ways that I have lost count.
When it comes to staying on property, I am pretty bougie. I have high standards, and most of the Disney resorts are accurate in their nomenclature.
If you are unfamiliar with the three tiers, it's pretty simple: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. I have stayed in every single Disney resort, and I have some takes.
This Christmas at Disney is especially busy. My options were limited. I booked the All-Stars Movies resort as a parachute. It was a worst case scenario.
After two days here, I am pleasantly surprised. I’m a big fan of staying on property. Even though I live in quite close proximity to the world, I still love staying inside the bubble. I love catching a bus to watch Fantasmic. I love going to the quick serve to get a coffee.

For us, the location isn’t a deal breaker. If you are familiar with the Disney map, All-Star Movies is pretty out there. Like Animal Kingdom Lodge out there. It’s a good ride to the parks, an even longer ride to Disney Springs.
The theming is top-notch, but it’s a value resort. I would consider the accommodations like I would consider a Hooter’s. Delightfully tacky, yet unrefined. That’s where I would place this resort. It’s a very well-themed resort, but I wouldn’t stay here on purpose. They are constantly trying to improve the resort, but it’s like sticking a thumb in a leaking dike. You are on property, but the bed sucks. You do have transportation, but it’s by bus. It’s the bottom buy in and that’s what it is.
