Roger Rabbit never became the iconic character Disney hoped for when he debuted in 1988. There had been talk of a ride for him at what was the Disney-MGM Studios, but it never came to be. Instead, Disneyland has long had this Car Toon Spin, which is a wild mix of Mr. Toad and the Teacups. It’s shifted a few times over the years, with Jessica taking on a detective role, but a recent upgrade keeps it more fun than ever. Sure, most younger folks may not remember Roger today, but the ride itself deserves to be on more than one coast.

The caterpillar cars are fun, and a recent makeover adding some animated screens to the effects sparks it up even more. There’s also the fun segment of the vehicles going outside on a twisting trail before arriving for an “Unbirthday Party.” It may just be too large and elaborate to fit into the WDW Magic Kingdom, but it could still be a fantastic addition to one of Disneyland’s more unique rides.
