4. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
No Magic Kingdom attraction is more missed than Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. It’s been a quarter of a century since the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh replaced it, but guests remember this fun car ride through London. The Disneyland version was always more elaborate, including a fun effect of smashing through a fireplace to the outside. The effects are better, yet still an “old school” dark ride, and the final scene wows guests. Fun as Pooh is, there are plenty of WDW guests who’d love to see Toad embark on that wild journey once again.
3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye
Given the popularity of Indiana Jones, one would have expected Disney to transplant this hit attraction to somewhere in WDW. Recently reopening after refurbishment, the ride is better than ever as guests board jeeps into a temple packed with fire, explosions, traps and a giant snake. Indy himself shows up in AA form for his typical wisecracks in a ride ending with that giant boulder rolling toward the jeeps before a narrow escape. It could spark up either Adventureland or Hollywood Studios, as the iconic archaeologist deserves more than a stunt show in WDW.
