3 Classic Disney movies that deserve to be remade and 2 that should never be touched

It seems that when it comes to movies these days, Disney films or not, retreads and remakes are all the rage and if we are honest, most if not all of them shouldn't be. The problem is they are picking the wrong films to remake.

If there is a film that is simply too good not to remake it has to be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The Jules Verne masterpiece is primed for a 2023 remake.

20,000 Leagues is based of course on the novel and the original film was so good it spawned a ride at Disneyland and at Disney World which has long ago been replaced.

The film starred Kirk Douglas and James Mason as Captain Nemo.

For those that are not familiar with the story, it is about the Nautilus and it's crew as they try to unravel the mystery of sailors' tails of a Narwhal whale that has been sinking ships.

Today, this is a prime film ready to recapture the imaginations of children and adults. Today's technology could really do this film well and there are tremendous actors who could take up the mantles of those that were in the original.

Of all the films in Disney's vault of films, this one probably would be one of the best. It doesn't have to be reimagined, simply modernized with more action and updated actors.
