4 things first time Disney World guests shouldn't worry about
By Brian Miller
Don't be afraid to be a "newb" your are and should embrace your first time at Disney World.
This is important. I can't stand when someone says "Oh they are rookies!" or they suggest to you that you shouldn't try that food or dessert or that restaurant because that is what rookies do. Guess what, they did too and if they say they didn't, they are lying.
If you want to buy the Mickey Ears with your name embroidered on the back, do it. Want a Mickey Ice Cream? Do it. Want to take your picture in front of Cinderella's Castle, then do it, again and again and again. And if that so-called "influencer" is taking his or her sweet time posing for a million selfie pictures and you are patiently waiting longer than needed? Politely say excuse me and get your picture. If they don't like it...oh well. Remember...this is YOUR vacation.
You should ask every Cast Member you see for directions if you don't know where something is. They know, it is their job to know. It may be trivial or it may sound kind of embarrassing but guess what, you got it, it is your vacation and your first time. Don't miss something because you are afraid to ask or bother a cast member, it isn't a bother and that includes asking them to take your picture.
