All World Showcase pavilions at EPCOT should have this one attraction, including America

World Showcase is probably the best of what EPCOT offers. It is unique and dynamic but it is missing something.

Did you know that many of the World Showcase countries offer an attraction of some kind? On a recent trip I was surprised by one first-time visitor who had spent the day at EPCOT and was unaware of anything other than the rides in Mexico and Norway.

When I told him that there were three other countries that offered short films, he was surprised and that is what is missing from World Showcase.

Personally, I think that every country represented in W.S. should have a film about their country, yes, even the American Pavilion.

Impressions of France is a relaxing and enjoyable, nearly 180 degree film that shows off the beauty and culture of France. In China, Reflections of China is a wonderful 360 degree film that takes guests into the vast landscapes, cultures, and bustling cities.

After being under construction for quite a long time, Canada Far and Wide arrived, another 360-degree film about yet another World Showcase country. A previous version featured Martin Short.

The other countries don't offer any such attraction and that is a shame. Japan would be a beautiful addition and frankly, they don't need to be 360 degrees. They don't have to be 180 either. A simple theater sized viewing area where guests can learn something new.

Germany, Norway, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Morrocco have incredibly rich stories and cultures to tell but none of them have films that can take you across those regions. The American Pavilion also has no such thing. A trip through American history does not take out of country guests across the natural wonders of the United States.

EPCOT is missing this opportunity to educate and entertain guests with films that don't need to be more than 10 minutes long. They are missing out on this.
