There is something unique and captivating about Anya Taylor-Joy that brings thoughts of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Now, she may be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the MCU.

Little is known at this point but one insider, Daniel Richtman, is saying that the actress could be in line for a role as a villain in the upcoming MCU film, The Fantastic Four.

Rumors of Javier Bardem and Mads Mikkelsen have circulated since the MCU announced a dive into the Fantastic Four world. They would play Galactus and Doctor Doom. Where would AT-J fit into this world?

It isn't known just yet but the versatile actress would be a thrill to watch as a possible Super-villain.

There isn't much known about the Fantastic Four just yet but Taylor-Joy isn't a newcomer to the superhero world. In 2020 she played Magik in the X-Men spinoff The New Mutants.

Casting for the Fantastic Four has been slow. Pedro Pasqual of Game of Thrones fame and The Last of Us series has been named the actor to play Reed Richards or Mr. Fantastic. No one else has been officially confirmed for a role.

Previous iterations of Fantastic Four have had mixed reviews and box office results. In 2005, Fantastic Four debuted on the big screen for the first time since a film in 1994 bombed.

The 2005 film which also saw a featured sequel featuring the Silver Surfer, did well enough and introduced Chris Evans (Captain America) to the superhero world. He played Johnny Storm. Ioan Grufford played Reed Richards.

The films were met with decent but not great reviews. In 2015 the franchise got a reboot starring Miles Teller in the Richards role. It was met with a lot of scrutiny and word of mouth wasn't good. The film did not get a sequel.
