Concept Art: Disney teases World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland and it looks amazing

Frozen is one of Disney's most popular and beloved franchises. It's been a financial cash cow for the House of Mouse since the original movie debuted in 2013.

Despite it being the commercial success that it is, Disney has been rather slow in incorporating the film into its theme parks.

Sure, we've had some character meet and greets along with some stage shows. But the only attraction in Walt Disney World is at the Norway pavilion in EPCOT where Disney hastily re-themed the Maelstrom attraction with a Frozen overlay.

One would think though, that a franchise that has generated over $2 billion at the global box office plus more in merchandise would be worthy of more than a disappointing reskin of a lackluster attraction.

Well, it may have taken a decade, but Disney is finally ready to debut the World of Frozen. Opening at Hong Kong Disneyland this November, the new Frozen-themed land welcomes guests to a Summer Snow Day celebration in the Kingdom of Arendelle.

This week, Disney Parks Blog gave fans a sneak peek at what awaits them in the Kingdom of Arendelle by releasing concept artwork.

The first is "Frozen Ever After" which looks to be the same concept as the ride in EPCOT. Again, if you've visited Walt Disney World in Orlando, this probably doesn't move the needle for you. But the rest of what's planned, well, it sure makes me jealous.

Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs

The second planned attraction for World of Frozen is the Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs. This is the first Frozen-themed coaster in the world, built by Wandering Oaken. The concept art only shows off the queue area which is themed to look like the inside of Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna.

Golden Crocus Inn

The next concept art shows off the Golden Crocus Inn, which looks to be a quick-service restaurant. This eatery is named after the national symbol of Arendelle and is a place to meet for parties and celebrations, according to Disney.

Northern Delights

If you've got more of a sweet tooth, North Lights is a sweets shop where you can purchase candy and frozen treats.

Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles

This is Disney, of course, and no themed land would be complete without a shop. Tick Tock Toys is a charming toy shop and the go-to place for toys, keepsakes and collectibles.

Playhouse in the Woods

The final part of World of Frozen teased by Disney is Playhouse in the Woods. This is a unique interactive play experience set in Anna and Elsa's childhood Playhouse.

World of Frozen is set to open at Hong Kong Disneyland this November.
