In a film littered with cameos, one of the biggest surprises in Deadpool & Wolverine was the reveal of Channing Tatum as Gambit. The actor had long been linked to the beloved mutant although a solo film was never quite in the cards.

Deadpool & Wolverine finally delivered on a promise years in the making. Channing Tatum absolutely crushed it in the role and Marvel fans have been clamoring for more.

If a newly revealed clip from leading man Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool) is any indication, we may be getting more! Reynolds recently took to social media to share a new deleted scene from Deadpool & Wolverine that seemingly offers confirmation that Gambit made it out of the Void.

In the clip, which you can watch below, we see Gambit (Channing Tatum) surveying the battlefield following the Resistance's hard-fought win over Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin). When he turns to the camera, we see what appears to be one of Doctor Strange's Inter-Dimensional Portals -- aka a Marvel Sparkle Circle -- opening up.

Where it leads, we're not quite sure. Unlike other members of The Resistance, Gambit didn't really have a home world to return to -- at least not one that we've seen in a Marvel movie. Elektra and Blade both have home worlds we've seen in previous Fox movies. X-23 chose to return to Earth-10005 with Logan and Deadpool.

Gambit was seen in X-Men Origins, but that was a version played by Taylor Kitsch. We have to assume that Channing Tatum's Gambit is from a different home world.

So while we don't quite know where the Marvel Sparkle Circle is taking him, it at least opens the door for Gambit's return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans definitely want to see more of Channing Tatum's beloved character return to the big screen and the fact this scene exists seems to suggest that even Marvel Studios is open to the idea of Gambit returning in the future.
