Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom park details

Disney After Hours gives those who attend three full hours in the park with limited crowds. Because it's a separate ticketed event — with prices that range from $175 to $185 per ticket — there are fewer guests in the park. This results in shorter wait times for some of the park's biggest attractions, which remain open during extended hours.

While the actual event doesn't begin until 10:00 p.m., anyone with a Disney After Hours ticket can actually enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m. So you're technically getting six hours in the park for this price.

Some of Magic Kingdom's biggest attractions are open during this event, including TRON Lightcycle / Run and Tiana's Bayou Adventure. While these normally operate with the Virtul Queue, a standby line is offered during the event.

Other attractions open during the event include Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, and more. With so many of these rides often having wait times of 45 minutes or more during regular park hours, Disney After Hours is the best time to experience them with no wait.

In addition to shorter queues, Disney After Hours includes free snacks and beverages throughout the evening. Ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages are all included with your ticket and available at snack carts throughout the park.

I know three hours may not seem like a lot — or technically six if you get there at 7:00 p.m. — but the shorter queues really do allow for you to do a ton of stuff. In many cases, you may be able to squeeze more in during these three/six hours than you would in a full park day.
