Special events for EPCOT are nothing new. The beloved Disney World park is already home to numerous events throughout the year such as the International Festival of the Arts, Flower & Garden Festival, and the International Food & Wine Festival (which just kicked off this week).
So naturally, Disney has added one more to the list. The After Hours Event is not necessarily something new, but it is returning to Walt Disney World parks after a bit of a hiatus.
For those unfamiliar, Disney After Hours is a special ticketed event that grants exclusive access to the park for a couple of hours after it closes. Disney After Hours at EPCT will take place on select nights from February 27 through September 25, 2025. The specific event dates are:
- February 27
- May 8 and 29
- June 19 and 26
- July 10, 24 and 31
- August 7, 14, 21 and 28
- September 11 and 25
Like the After Hours events at other Disney parks, the event takes place from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.; however, those with an event ticket can enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m., giving you a total of six hours in the park. Ticket prices cost anywhere between $155 to $175 per ticket depending on the date you choose. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can save $30 per ticket.
The perks of Disney After Hours is basically access to the entire park with limited crowds. This means you can ride all your favorite attractions with lower wait times. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, and Soarin' Around the World should all remain open during the event, along with some of the smaller less popular attractions.
The ticket also includes free ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages from cart stations found thorughout the park.
Tickets for Disney After Hours at EPCOT will go on sale on September 4, 2024 for guests of select Walt Disney World Disney Resort hotels. For everyone else, you can begin purchasing tickets online on September 10.
