The current nighttime show at EPCOT was a step back from year's past. Granted, it was better than the kite thing they tried to pass off a couple of years ago but now, guests will get a brand new end-of-the-day show.

Luminous, The Symphony of Us will take center stage in the World Showcase lagoon on December 5th, 2023.

Not much is known about this new show just yet and we can be certain that plenty of guests and blog sites will be there on the 5th to report about it's debut. We do know that there will be water involved, lasers, and fireworks but will the giant metal Earth make it's return? We have to assume it will in some fashion but so long as it is not showing Disney animation clips, we might just find it perfect.

Now, it's a matter of waiting which naturally goes hand in hand with Disney trips.

For those that are going to Disney the week of the 5th, you will get to experience both of the shows if you make your plans right. You could literally stay for the show on the 4th and return on the 5th and see the actual differences.

The current show is not likely to return. Once Disney changes a nighttime show, especially at EPCOT, they rarely return for a second run. Logistically it doesn't make sense.

Will this be a great addition that is worthy of sticking around the park until 9 pm? We won't have to wait long to find out.
