After Hours Access and Special Character Appearances
As this is an after-hours event with limited capacity, one of the perks is shorter queues for the rides. Many of Hollywood Studios' thrill rides, including Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be running during this event with shorter than usual wait times.
This will also be the perfect time to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The new-ish Star Wars-themed area of the park will be open as well, giving guests a chance to ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (will use the virtual queue system).
In addition to riding the attractions, you can meet your favorite Disney characters dressed in their fanciest holiday attire. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the rest of their pals will be posing for pictures with holiday props in the Animation Courtyard, while Edna Mode and Frozone will be found at Pixar Plaza. My personal favorite, Powerline Max, who I've seen in Hollywood Studios during regular park hours but haven't yet been able to meet, will also be at the party at Echo Lake.
Disney Jollywood Nights Pricing and Dates
Now onto the part we dread the most -- the cost. This is a special ticketed event which means you'll be paying a separate fee to enter. Tickets to Disney Jollywood Nights will range from $159 to $179 per person, depending on the date.
Disney Jollywood Nights is only running for 10 nights. With limited availability, I imagine it will sell out rather quickly. Here are the planned dates so far:
- November: 11,18, 20, 27, 29
- December: 4, 6,16,18, 20
Weekends will probably be a bit more pricey as well as dates closer to the actual holidays. Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting June 29, with general sales for all guests starting on July 6.
