My daughter's favorite Disney Princess has been Tiana since she was little and when it was announced that Disney was re-theming Splash Mountain to a Tiana theme, she, like many children were absolutely thrilled.

Tiana has been a missing part of the Magic Kingdom so having her own her own space makes a lot of sense. Many wondered what the attractions Tiana might look like and now we know. A perfect rendering animatronic will bring her to life!

Centered around the Mardi Gras Festival, Disney is promising a year-long Mardi Gras adventure and many fans are hoping for new food items to go along with the wonderful Jazz music that will accompany the attraction.

Over on TikTok, Disney released a short video that shows Tiana's movements up close. How can you not get excited to see this in action once this attraction opens?

One thing you will notice is that Disney is not using the screen-projected facial renderings that they have in the past. Most notably on the Frozen ride at the Norway Pavilion at EPCOT. This goes back to the wonderful imagining basics to bring the character into the real world.

The attractions will open sometime during the 2024 summer but a definitive date has not been set. In California, the Disneyland version which will use the same animatronics will not open until later in the year presumably in the late fall.
