There is nothing more special about the nighttime spectacular fireworks shows that highlight the end of a Disney World day...and now Disney Springs.

Disney has announced that this summer will bring a new show to the visitors of Disney Springs. A drone show! It will be called, "Disney Dreams Tha Soar" and it will utilize a fleet of drones that will "dance" to musical scores.

Disney is saying that there will be a big show wrapped around the drone show.

The show will be free to guests that are visiting Disney Springs which is Disney Worlds shopping and dining district. The area is free to visit and free to park. It also offers water transportation to different Disney Resort hotels as well.

For now, there is no news on when it will premier and Disney hasn't released any other information on the show. It will likely be a weekly show during the summer months but it would be surprising if the show becomes both nightly or permanent. It could also be done on specific dates only.

Disney started running a drone show earlier this year during the holidays and there was a test done that closed down the Disney Springs boats during those tests. After speaking with a cast member, it is unclear if this will become a permanent part of the late night Disney Springs entertainment.

When the show does start, transportation around the Springs to the resort hotels will stop during the shows as they were the last time when they ran holiday drone shows.

Disney has been messing around with drones for a few years now so it will be interesting to see how far this goes or if they will eventually make it to one of the parks as well.
