In 2018, Walt Disney World theme park opened up the long-awaited Toy Story Land inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. Fans of all ages were excited to see the big reveal. Everyone wanted to see the new rides, but also see how Disney was going to bring Andy’s toys to life. Not only did Disney bring Woody, Buzz, Jessie and Rex to life, but the theme park did an amazing job making guests feel as though they too were toys -- or at least the size of toys.

Toy Story Land is set at the very back of Hollywood Studios and has three main attractions:

Slinky Dog Dash

Ride along with Slinky Dog as he takes you through a toy-filled adventure. This coaster is perfect because you only need to be 38” tall and that allows many younger children to even enjoy the fun.

Alien Swirling Saucers

Hold on tight as you rocket along with the little green aliens from Toy Story. This ride is suitable for anyone taller than 32”, but make sure not to eat too much before spinning out of this world.

Toy Story Mania!

Shrink down to the size of a toy as you walk through Andy’s bedroom. Put on your 3D glasses and get ready for a "rootin-tootin-shootin" good time.

Toy Story Land is great, but Disney World made a few mistakes

Now, the rides themselves are not bad. We are a family of five with children ranging from three to 11. All of them love Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania. That said, there are three glaring mistakes that Disney made when opening Toy Story Land and only one has since been attempted to be corrected.
