There are rides you need to ride and rides you can skip while vacationing in Orlando at one of the Disney World theme parks. The question is which ones should you wait in line for and which ones you can skip entirely. Yes, some are worth the wait.

Wait times vary by ride. They vary by season. They vary by weather. All the while you are trying to plan your day as early as 6:30 in the morning while the rest of your family is still sleeping or just starting to stir.

Maybe you are the on that gets up and joins a queue and then goes back to bed or the one that joins the queue hits the button on the coffee and wakes everyone up to get a jump on your day.

The easiest two ways to ride what you want without abnormally long wait times and no extra money out of your pocket (Genie+ and Lightning lane purchases) is to join a queue early in the morning or rope drop.

For those that don't know, rope drop is arriving at the park before it opens and waiting for the park to open than heading straight for the ride you want to do. The wait times are typically less than 30 minutes if you can be quick enough but no more than an hour which is a great way to enjoy your morning coffee while the sun is still rubbing the sleep from it's eyes gearing up to make you sweat.

If you rope drop, you can pretty much ride anything you want at any park with minimal wait times but you should probably know, some rides will leave you wishing you had chosen something else.

Here is a look at the rides you should go on and some that you can skip at each of the Orlando Disney World theme parks.
