Disneyland Magic Key passes will go on sale March 5th and will sell out quickly
By Brian Miller
Unlike Disney World where you can buy an annual pass just about any time of the year, at Disneyland, there is a short window. That opens tomorrow.
The news that Disneyland will open the sale of annual passes that they call "Magic Keys" is going to blow up the Disneyland website. In January of 2024, Disney opened the gates for MKs, and guests who wanted the Disneyland version of the AP were either extremely lucky or out of luck.
Long queue lines and heartache were the flavors of that day and on March 5th, the same dread will likely be felt all over again.
There are four different Magic Key passes. Inspire, Believe, Enchant, and Imagine. Prices range from $1,649 for the Inspire Key to $499 for the Imagine Key. The differences are block-out days that range from weekends to holidays, to even none at all.
To purchase one of the passes or at the very least join the queue line, visit Disneyland.disney.go.com/passes and then keep your fingers crossed.
While you may have to wait until tomorrow to get your pass or attempt to, you can still visit the Disneyland site to get familiar with each passes price and blackout dates along with any other requirements Disney has to purchase. Having as much preparation at the time the website goes live could be the difference between getting your passes or not.
You will need to be ready to go as early as 8:45 am when the virtual queue opens. If you are even a minute late, you may not get a chance to purchase the passes. The passes will go on sale at 9:00 am Pacific time
