Though still in the dog days of summer, Disney has gone ahead and given guests a glimpse of some of their planned holiday festivities for Disneyland Resort. This year's holiday celebration at Disneyland will run from November 10, 2023 through January 7, 2024.
During this time, guests can experience an assortment of holiday festivities, cultural celebrations, spectacular events and, of course, tasty treats.
Over at Disney California Adventure Park, the Disney Festival of the Holidays offers a multicultural seasonal celebration. Guests can experience the traditions of Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day along with food and beverages, live entertainment and more. The Sip and Savor Pass will be available for purchase, offering eight entitlement tabs that can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic drinks.
Returning for its tenth season will be Disney ¡Viva Navidad! This festive street party features live music, Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their holiday best.
Additionally, Disneyland resort and various attractions will be updated with holiday-themed decor. Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle will be adorned with icicles and snow-capped turrets while Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will have a massive gingerbread house on display. The fan-favorite Nightmare Before Christmas overlay will return for the Haunted Mansion Holiday, while "it's a small world" will feature holly, jolly tunes.
During the day, catch "A Christmas Fantasy Parade" which will feature characters from Frozen, Toy Story and more. And at night, be sure to check out the "Believe... In Holiday Magic," a nighttime spectacular with fireworks and snow. And lastly, at Disney California Adventure park, you can take in the breathtaking sites of "World of Color - Season of Light" a special water and light show featuring some of the most heartwarming moments from Disney's animated films.
