2023 was a brutal year for Marvel Studios. Well, the Marvel movie brand in general has been in a bit of a slump but as we turn the calendar page, there's hope for a rebound in 2024.

As we prepare to enter the new year, we're taking a look at the slate of Marvel movies coming to theaters. With all of the delays across the industry due to the strikes, studios have been shifting release dates seemingly nonstop. It's all been very hard to keep track of.

Marvel Studios, which once had three movies slated for theatrical release in 2024, now only has one. Filling the space though are multiple Marvel movies from Sony.

Let's take a look at all the Marvel movies coming to theaters in 2024. Remember, a Marvel movie does not necessarily mean the MCU.

Madame Web (February 14, 2024)

Kicking things off in 2024 is Madame Web, a standalone origin story about Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson), aka Madame Web, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. With her newfound abilities to see the future, she teams up with three young women -- Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman (Sydney Sweeney), Mattie Franklin/Spider-Woman (Celeste O'Connor) and Anya Corazon/Arana/Spider-Girl (Isabela Merced) to take on the powerful Ezekiel Sims.

We got our first look at Madame Web in the form of a trailer that, unfortunately, wasn't all too inspiring. But who knows, maybe the movie will surprise us.

Deadpool 3 (July 26, 2024)

With Marvel Studios need a win at the box office, there's perhaps no one better to give the MCU the jolt it needs than the Merc with a Mouth. Ryan Reynolds returns as the titular Deadpool and joining him is Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Fans have been dying to see Deadpool and Wolverine share the screen and Marvel is finally giving us what we've longed for. Let's hope it lives up to the hype.

Kraven The Hunter (August 30, 2024)

Marvel fans who have watched Avengers: Age of Ultron will recognize the star of Kraven The Hunter. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver int he 2015 MCU blockbuster, returns to the Marvel universe, this time playing Sergie Kravinoff in Sony Pictures' Kraven the Hunter.

This is another origin story aimed at showing how and why one of Marvel's most iconic villains came to be.

Venom 3 - November 8, 2024

The untitled third installment in Sony's Venom series arrives in November after getting delayed due to the strikes. Not much is known about the film's story except that it was developed by director Kelly Marcel and star Tom Hardy. The Venom movies have been fairly successful at the box office, grossing $856 million and $502 million, respectively, worldwide. It should be noted that the second film was released amid the pandemic. As Venom 3 arrives in late 2024, it's possible that the film could feature some cameos from other characters, such as Morbius, Kraven the Hunter or Madame Web, as Sony attempts to build the Spider-Man Cinematic Universe.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (TBD 2024)

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is the third installment in Sony Pictures Animation CG-animated series. It's technically the continuation of the story from Across the Spider-Verse, which was released to both critical and commercial success in June 2023.
