5 songs that would fit well on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

"Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran

While some songs work on Cosmic Rewind because the lyrics fit, "Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran works because the introduction is just fantastic.

Timing is everything in this song and when the pinpoint of light gives way to the gut-pop reversal and speed of Cosmic Rewind you can't help but get drawn into the sway of the song. The first half-second laugh fits with the explosive start and immediately jumps into the music afterward. It lifts the ride as you swing into the dark space on the hunt to save the Earth.

For the most part, "Hungry Like the Wolf" would be a very good addition but I admit that by the time the ride is over, you are less into the music than you were at the beginning. That also holds true for a lot of the songs that are currently in use for Cosmic Rewind.

Still, for the better half of the first part of this roller coaster, "Hungry Like the Wolf" is a fun ride-setting song that fills a need.
