5 songs that would fit well on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

"You Make My Dreams" by Daryl Hall & John Oates

If there is an absolutely perfect song that fits Cosmic Rewind, I don't think we have heard it yet. But "You Make My Dreams Come True" by Daryl Hall & John Oates comes awfully close to perfection.

Daryl Hall & John Oates were one of the best rock duos of the 1970s and 1980s and their music still is well received today. For the purpose of this article, I implore you to go to the video below and sync it with a first-person view of the ride and tell me this does not fit.

The opening sequence of synthesized rhythm and the lights of the opening segment of the ride fit flawlessly and by the time you hear Hall's vocals through the speakers, you are twisting and being introduced to the theme of the ride.

There are a couple of spots that don't match perfectly with a twist here or a turn there but you won't really care. You are wrapped in another world listening to a Peter Quill playlist and it is just more fun to be had.

Admittedly, I have watched the two videos synced together so many times that I now want to throw on a pair of noise blocking ear buds and try it out on the ride itself the next time I go to Epcot. Yeah, in my opinion, it is that good.
