It's one of the best times to visit Disneyland as the California parks are unleashing their great Halloween events. While not as expansive as in Walt Disney World, Disneyland has more than its fair share of stuff to spark the spooky season. Here's a quick rundown of what you can enjoy starting Labor Day through November 2 in California!

Attraction overlays

Haunted Mansion Holiday (continues through the "Holidays at Disneyland Resort" season)

It's that time when the Haunted Mansion gets an overlay themed to Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas. A tradition for over 20 years, this wonderfully remakes the classic attraction into a  new theme with characters from the movie showing up. It will extend past Halloween into the holiday season in January 2024 and is a must-see for fans.

Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree in Cars Land

Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween in Cars Land

These two Cars-themed attractions put some spooky decorations on the vehicles with darker lighting and fun music like "The Chop Top of Carsoil." They make these fun kids' rides even better for the season.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark in Avengers Campus

As if Mission Breakout couldn't be wilder, as soon as night hits, guests see different lighting and costumes for the cast members. There's also a new opening film with Rocket and Groot that sells a storyline of alien monsters loose, and the guests have to help capture them. It's still some rocking tunes, but the horror-based storyline makes it worth riding again.
