Food and Treats

It's not Halloween without special menus, and the Disneyland parks have lots of them. Guests for the Coco Celebration can check out the Paradise Garden Grill's special menu, with Chile Verde Chicken Flautas, Tacos Estilo Callejero, a Carnitas Burrito, and a plant-based "Chorizo Quesadilla."

Also in California Adventure, Flo's V8 Cafe is serving a special Spicy Chicken and Fries, the Lamplight Lounge (outside) has Ghost Pepper Nachos, and Smokejumpers Grill has a new Ghostly Double Cheeseburger with ghost pepper black bean spread.

For the Magic Kingdom, The Hungry Bear has a new BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, as well as Red Pepper Cheese Onion Rings or Fries, Carnation Café has its Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and The Golden Horseshoe has a new Pecan Pie Sundae.

Both parks will have seasonal churros and Halloween-themed ice cream bars.

Over at the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy's Kitchen will have characters in Halloween costumes and serve themed desserts starting September 21. And there's a big new Coco-inspired confectionery sculpture for everyone to see at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa this year, too.

Of course, Disneyland has its version of the popular Oogie Boogie Bash, starting September 5th and running 25 select nights through Halloween on October 31. There will also be scores of Halloween-themed souvenirs abounding across the parks to check out.

So, as fun as WDW's Halloween bashes are, Disneyland has more than its share of fun to offer to make a trip out West for the season a blast for families.
