How to go Disney World park hopping...the right way!

Park hopping is a benefit that most Disney annual pass holders take advantage of but for many Disney World guests, purchasing a park hopper pass, while more expensive, is still a great use of time.

When visiting Disney World, the easiest parks to navigate are Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios but you should know which ones should line up with your park hopping start and finish.

EPCOT - You have to ask yourself two things when it comes to EPCOT, 1, are you planning to visit during a festival or 2, are you planning to ride attractions?

If you answered one to that question it is better to skip EPCOT early in the day and make that your last stop of the evening. Walking around World Showcase as the sun starts to set is not only beautiful but a lot less hot. You can still take in attractions but some, like the Living Land boat ride can close as early as 7:00 pm throughout the year.

If you are intent on making the attractions your primary goal, then start your day here and finish at one of the other two parks (remember you are better off doing AK first).

Magic Kingdom - M.K. is a great place to play and on many nights they will stay open sometimes as late as 11:00 pm making it the best park to visit on the 2nd half of your hop. Regardless of what other park you are leaving, you will have plenty of time to ride attractions and take in shows as well as watch the fireworks.

Hollywood Studios - For me, Hollywood Studios is best done at night and is typically my go-to for the 2nd park of the day. For one, it's cooler. Two the lines are typically less as park guests tend to start at HS and jump to other parks later in the day.

Unlike the other three parks, there is still only so much to do at Hollywood Studios and when you have done it all, there is no real reason to stick around the rest of the day. Rides like Rise of the Resistance could feature wait times less than 30 minutes.

In addition, Hollywood has two shows to take in at night. They have an fireworks show and Fantasmic as well which will be moving to a 9:30 start extending your time at the park.
