When you start looking at a Disney Resort to stay at, many guests skip what is the cheapest option and also the most fun.

Camping at Disney World? Yes, you can! Disney's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds are a mecca for RV lovers who are looking for a place to plug in for a few days or even a month. Other guests find the cabin rentals the best option. They will love the new renovations that will debut this summer.

One of the least talked about options is the actual, camping sites.

Yes, you can pitch a tent at Fort Wilderness and enjoy all that comes with it, and the rest of the campsites.

Fort Wilderness has restaurants, it has a pool, it has a few general stores, golf cart rentals if you don't bring your own, and it has busses to take you to the parks as well as a ferry boat to take you to Magic Kingdom.

What more can you want? Well, a bed might be nice.

For many guests, the cost of a Disney resort hotel can be quite expensive. Some of the cheapest options will still run you around $150.00 if not more. An RV site will cost anywhere from $119.00 to over $200.00 depending on the site.

Camping is a bit different though. Pop-up tent sites can run as low as $60.00 per night and you will get a parking pad for your vehicle. The only problem is they can be hard to come by but definitely worth the price. Disney will often rent them to groups, such as Boy Scout troops for a weekend so make sure you adjust your calendar selections if nothing shows as available.
