LEGO has been on a roll lately with its Disney-inspired sets. LEGO has revealed a bunch of sets in recent weeks culminating in this week's announcement of the brand-new Disney Castle.

The Disney Castle is an upgraded redesign of the 2016 version, improved in just about every way imaginable. From the updated colors to the sleek design to the all-new minifigures, even if you own the 2016 version, you'll likely want to add this to your collection.

This 4,837 piece set is chock-full of intricate details, both on the outside and inside, that Disney fans will surely appreciate. As it's part of the Disney100 -- which commemorates the Walt Disney Company's 100th anniversary -- the castle references 14 classic Disney films. From the classics like Steamboat Willie and Snow White to the more modern hits like The Princess and the Frog and Moana, there's something for everyone to enjoy when putting together this castle.

Of course, such a set like this commands a pretty hefty price tag. The Disney Castle will retail for $399.99 when it releases. This is $50 more than the original Disney Castle, but I'd say all the upgrades make it a worthy buy if you've got the money to spend.

If you are hoping to purchase this set, it goes on sale starting July 1st for LEGO VIP members. For everyone else, you can purchase it starting July 4th. Given the nature of this beast, I'm going to assume it will sell out fairly quickly, but be sure to check your local LEGO Stores as well as the official LEGO website on release date. You can also check out your local retailer if they carry LEGO.

The Disney Castle is just one of many exciting new Disney sets coming our way. Also arriving on July 1st is The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage Set, inspired by Hocus Pocus.
