LEGO Pixar: BrickToons brings a new animated adventure to Disney+ in September

Disney and LEGO are teaming up once again for a new LEGO animated adventure starring your favorite Pixar characters.

LEGO Pixar: BrickToons is a new series of shorts that will see our favorite Pixar characters turned into brickform. New stories featuring Miguel from Coco, Merida from Brave, and more we be told through bite-sized episodes.

The series is set to premiere on Disney+ in just a few days on September 4th. Ahead of its debut, Disney has shared a trailer for the upcoming series, giving us a sneak peek at some of the stories that will be told.

Each of the episodes will focus on a different Pixar story. Disney teases:

""Sing along with Miguel in the Land of the Dead, help Merida and her brothers through a beary rocky situation, take an epic field trip with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory, watch the Parr family try to save their neighborhood from Syndrome, and join Mater as he prepares Lightning McQueen for his next big race!""

LEGO Pixar; BrickToons will consist of five LEGO animated adventures and will stream exclusively on Disney+. All episodes will premiere at once.

LEGO Pixar: BrickToons is just one of the many new shows coming to Disney+ in September. In fact, there's actually another LEGO series debuting on Friday, September 13 -- LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. In this series, the entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up, resulting in a wild and twisted version of the galaxy far, far away.

Most of the LEGO-Disney collaborations have focused on the Star Wars and Marvel franchises, so it's nice to see them branching off and exploring new opportunities. Last year, we got LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest, a special LEGO movie starring Tiana, Moana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Ariel as they work together to save their kingdoms.

Beyond that, there's plenty of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Marvel entertainment, including LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red, LEGO STar Wars: All Stars, LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation, LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales, and more.
