Disney has announced that in 2024, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular will return.

As part of the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Sanderson Sisters will return in 2024. The after-hours ticketed event has yet to set dates but we now know at least one theme that will return for the Halloween Party that will likely start again in late August as it did last year.

Yes, August.

The news of the Hocus Pocus return comes via a casting call Disney sent out for the show.

Disney has made a big push in recent years to get the ball rolling earlier and earlier when it comes to their holiday festivals. Halloween started last year in August with decorations going up in the middle of the hottest month in Orlando. The festival or party, runs all the way through the end of October culminating in Halloween.

The following day, the decorations are down and Disney begins their transition to Christmas. Last year, the Christmas decorations remained in place until the 2nd week of January despite the Christmas parades and character outfits having ended a few days before Christmas Day.

Halloween is one of the best after-hour parties that Disney has. The trick-or-treating is a lot of fun for guests of all ages and adults can and do get into the act of dressing up in costumes as well. Held at Magic Kingdom, the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party typically runs about 2-3 times per week.

Magic Kingdom will close early on those days and guests will need tickets for both admissions if they choose to stay for an entire day and attend the party. Or they can just get the party ticket and enjoy a much less crowded M.K.
