On January 30, 2024, Pixar Place Hotel officially opened. The former Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland Resort has been reimagined and transformed into a full Pixar-themed hotel, complete with contemporary rooms, new dining options, a rooftop pool area, new fitness center, shopping, and more.

If this is your first time hearing about the Pixar Place Hotel, here's everything you need to know about it!

The guest rooms have been completely renovated and now feature a bright and whimsical decor. Each room has the iconic Pixar Lamp as well as a headboard that consists of concept art from various Pixar features, including The Incredibles, Toy Story 3 and more.

Coming later this year are themed signature suites, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 479. There will be a two-bedroom Coco suite that pays tribute to Miguel and the Rivera family's legacy through Oaxacan art, as well as a two-bedroom Incredibles suite that offers more of a midcentury modern feel with a "spy-fi" twist.

The hotel is packed with amenities. The rooftop pool area has been completely redone. From Crush's Surfin Slide to the Pixel Pool to Nemo's Cove (a pop-jet splash pad featuring characters from Finding Nemo), there's tons for kids to do. And for the adults, you can relax by renting a private daybed, cabana or pod. At night, enjoy the fire pits that have been sculpted to look like Pixar's fiery characters, such as Ember from Elemental and Anger from Inside Out.

There are multiple food options to choose from. The "Great Maple" is a 6,500 square-foot restaurant that serves playful takes on upscale comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Sketch Pad Cafe is a grab-and-go coffee shop with pastries,c offe and tease. Opening in March 2024 is Small Bytes, a rooftop pool bar that serves salads, wraps and assorted cheese plates alongside signature beverages.

Also coming later this year is a Concierge Lounge. The Creators Club will only be open to concierge-level guests and will have snacks and beverages available throughout the day.

Guests who stay at the Pixar Place Hotel also enjoy a dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure Park, which is within walking distance.
