At Magic Kingdom in Orlando, you have options when it comes to what you ride and what you don't, so choosing the right ones is important.

This brings us to the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, a ride attraction at Magic Kingdom that you may not need to experience. If we are being honest, there is a big reason why it isn't that important, and I will get to that in a second.

Located in the Frontierland area of the park, this attraction's most fun is watching unsuspecting guests get spit on by the animatronic camel head. The ride is the typical up-and-down tilting back-and-forth carousel type attraction. There is nothing special about it, and the views from the apex point of the ride are nothing special either.

Why can you skip Aladdin? The real reason is because you should be riding Dumbo instead. The views from the ride are better, it is far more iconic as one of the original attractions in the park, and it is exactly the same concept as Aladdin. In fact, I still don't quite understand the purpose of two identical rides being in the same park at all.

I suppose if you are walking over to the Tiki Room or heading to the concession stand behind it to grab a pineapple dole whip treat, and the line is short, it's a quick ride for the kids, but if you are an adult and want to have some fun, hit up Dumbo. The ride times are typically about the same.
