Star Tours – The Adventures Continue continues to be updated with new adventures. Disney announced this week plans to add new sequences inspired by some of the recent Star Wars shows from Disney+, including Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian.

The new adventures will debut on April 5, 2024, at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris.

With these additions, there will now be more than 250 storyline variations you can experience while riding the attraction. But it doesn't matter how many new sequences Disney adds, I always seem to get the Gungan underwater sequence from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Or the Wookie planet of Kashyyyk.

Disney released a brief teaser of the new Ahsoka adventure which will include a visit to the planet Peridea.

"Urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin and Grogu may soon be part of your next Starspeeder flight. These iconic characters will continue to add to the galaxy of stories aboard Disney’s first Star Wars attraction."

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is an updated version of the original Star Tours motion simulator. The ride, which was updated in 2011 to include new locations and characters from all nine films of the Skywalker Saga and 3D effects, continues to take passengers on a thrilling ride across the galaxy far, far away.

Passengers are now shepherded by C-3PO and R2-D2 who attempt to safely return a spy to the Rebel Alliance.

The attraction begins when you board a Starspeeder 1000 and prepare for takeoff. But when the ship is interception by Imperial or First Order forces in search for a Rebel spy, you embark on a thrilling space journey through the galaxy and the many different Star Wars periods.

Despite its age, Star Tours remains one of my favorite attractions at Disney World's Hollywood Studios, in part because of the nostalgia factor. While we've since gotten Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Star Tours is a reminder of what the park once was and stood for.
