It sounds like we'll be spending more time in the kitchen.

The Bear has seemingly been greenlit for a fourth season. While FX renewed the Emmy-winning comedy-drama for a third season back in November, there was nothing mentioned about a possible fourth season.

However, multiple sources speaking to Deadline have seemingly confirmed that The Bear seasons 3 and 4 will film back-to-back in Chicago. Nothing official has been announced though.

Season 3 of the hit series will premiere in June, exclusively on Hulu.

Created by Christopher Storer, The Bear follows an award-winning chef — Carmy Berzatto, played by Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) — who returns to his hometown of Chicago to manage the kitchen of his deceased brother's sandwich shop.

The series premiered in June 2022 with its second season following in June the next year.

Both seasons were met with universal critical acclaim with the first receiving a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. It received 10 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

"Like an expertly confected sandwich, The Bear assembles a perfect melange of ingredients and stacks them for optimal satisfaction -- and thankfully keeps the crust-iness for extra flavor," the critics' consensus reads.

The second season was also met with critical acclaim and a near-perfect score of 99% on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Instead of reinventing the menu, The Bear's second season wisely opts to toss its lovable characters into another frying pan of adversity, lets 'em cook, and serves up yet another supremely satisfying dish," reads the consensus for Season 2.

While the kitchen serves as the backdrop of The Bear, the series is much more about the personal relationships between each of the characters. The series features some incredible storylines and character growth, though no matter how good things seem to be getting, there's always another fire waiting.

Without getting into too much spoiler territory, Season 2 ended with what should've been a high note for the restaurant, but Carmy's self-destructive tendencies put a damper on it.

We don't know much about Season 3, but I'm sure it will contain plenty of high and low moments for Carmy and the rest of the kitchen staff.
