The Pop Eats! grilled cheese is a must-try at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is in full swing at Walt Disney World and while I admire the creative spirit of the festival, the food and drink booths are a bit underwhelming — at least compared to the other park festivals throughout the year. However, there is one booth that I believe is a must-try for all guests attending the park during the Festival of the Arts.

That is the Pop Eats! booth. Located at World Showcase Plaza near Port of Entry (across from the restrooms), the Pop Eats! booth has two main courses, both variations of Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup.

The first option is just your standard Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese. For $5.75, you get half a grilled cheese sandwich and a small cup of tomato soup that comes in a fun Warhol-inspired can.

The second option, which I preferred, is a bit fancier of a sandwich. It's also a grilled cheese but topped with pimento cheese, bacon, and a fried green tomato for $6.50. This, in my opinion, is the better of the two options. The bacon and the fried green tomato are amazing enhancements that add some delicious flavor without taking away from the flavor of the cheese.

Regardless of which option you choose, the grilled cheese is a great pairing with the rich and creamy tomato soup. I will say though, it helps to have this on a day when its cool outside.

I visited the park when it was in the 60s and breezy, so it was a nice meal to warm up. I can't imagine eating this on a day when its 85+ degrees out and sunny.

At $5.75 and $6.50, respectively, both sandwiches are also on the more affordable end of the spectrum. And you get a decent amount of food for that price.
