The worst attraction at any Disney World park can be found at Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios isn't one of the best Disney World parks. While some of the food offerings are quite good, attraction-wise, not so much.

Hollywood introduced "Galaxy's Edge" a few years back and the two attractions are quite fun, Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance. Hollywood Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster pretty much round out the thrill rides at the park.

I'm not a huge fan of Slinky Dog Dash but it is a good rollercoaster for first-time coaster riders. Like kids, which is the point.

Each park has their own attraction that you shake your head at and wonder why Disney phoned it in when they built it but Hollywood Studios boasts the absolute worst attraction at any park.

You can read any article you want from any website and you can listen to the extreme few who say this ride is better than it gets credit for. I will tell you this, stand in line for more than 35 minutes and you wasted 35 minutes.

Of course, we are a talking about Alien Swirling Saucers.

There is nothing fun about this attraction. Even the ride queue gets to be quite boring but honestly, that is probably the best part of the attraction. You board a saucer-like car that is being towed behind what probably should be a tractor. You are supposed to sway to the right and then to the left as you make little circles around the course.

I took my then 4-year-old to ride it. He hated it. In fact, the next time we went back he refused to stand in line.

At no point do you really slide from side to side unless you force yourself to and even that can be hard. The ride is a lot slower than it actually might seem and frankly, I have seen and ridden better attractions at a mall carnival.

Alien Saucer is a great ride for toddlers and parents together but there is nothing about it that will make you smile except that you are done waiting in line. No part of you will regret not experiencing the attraction and that wait time you avoid can be spent somewhere else.
