Disney still hasn't decided if Tiana's Bayou Adventure will be open for the after hours event

If you are a Disney guest that will be attending the Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween party, you may be confused if you are following along with the Tiana's Bayou Adventure drama. Will it or will it not be part of the after hours party?

Disney's website has no definitive answers but over the last month and a half, there has been notifications that the ride would be open, then it is removed, then is added back and removed again. On different days it may show up on one schedule and not the other.

Guests who are paying the expensive ticket prices to attend the after-hours Halloween party should be more than a little upset if the newest Magic Kingdom attraction is left out of the after-hours party list. If Disney opts to shut the attraction down, they may have a lot of upset ticket holders.

One reason why it may not be open is because the water-attraction will get guests wet. Imagine being in your costume and finishing your evening soaked without the sunshine to dry you off. What about your bag of candy now being soaked as well?

Disney could, of course, make a killing selling ponchos, and given the evening hours, there is probably some confusion on their part as to whether or not guests will line up for the ride.

That, however, should be up to the guests. Not all MNSSHP attendees wear costumes and many take advantage of the far lower crowds and the lower temperatures. Not having one of the more popular attractions, and the newest, would not sit well with many guests. It is something to keep an eye on for sure.
