8. Check out Chef Mickey’s

In contrast to the California Grill, Chef Mickey’s is a lot more laid-back and a good spot for a light lunch. Of course, it’s famous for its terrific character meals as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and more mingle around as guests enjoy a terrific buffet breakfast or dinner. That’s a hot ticket for guests to make reservations a must as Chef Mickey’s is home to one of the best places kids can meet the characters while getting a good meal. 

7. Watch the Electrical Water Pageant

One of Disney’s underrated spectacles, the Electrical Water Pageant has been a secret treat for decades. This 15-minute show has massive floating floats based on whimsical sea creatures circling Bay Lake with fantastic lights and music. It can occasionally shift up the look for everything from holidays to the recent 50th anniversary of WDW and is a fun sight. The Contemporary gives plenty of great views of the water parade to enjoy a sight many WDW guests miss.
