4. Enjoy the lake 

The Contemporary allows guests to have full use of Bay Lake. Guests can enjoy the nice beach area for everything from making sandcastles to fishing. There’s also a chance to rent power boats, paddle boats, and sailboats, as well as skiing, parasailing, and other water activities. There are special charges and times for use, but it’s terrific to be able to enjoy different types of water activities besides just the pool at the Contemporary. 

3. Hit the arcade

Sadly, the once fantastic Fiesta Fun Center is long gone from the Contemporary. Thankfully, there’s still fun for game fans, as in 2019, they converted the Pixar Play Zone to the updated Game Station Arcade. Located on the 4th floor of the Concourse, this massive arcade rivals the Fiesta Fun Center in size and selection. Guests can enjoy everything from classic arcade games to new ones, skeeball and more. It works on a card system rather than tokens, but in case of a rainy day, it’s a great spot to kill a few hours.
