10 things to do at Disney's Contemporary Resort
2. Watch Magic Kingdom Fireworks
Watching the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is great, but it can be a major hassle handling the crowds. That’s why guests at the Contemporary have a major advantage with Celebration at the Top. They can mingle at an outdoor patio, enjoy some drinks and snacks and overlook the Magic Kingdom for the grand fireworks display. It’s a great view, often better than in the parks, and while there is a $129 charge, it can often be worth it to see this amazing display.
1. Ride the Monorail
There’s something about riding the Monorail through the Contemporary that just feels magic. Even watching it enter the building and roar overhead is a sight. Being able to walk out of the room and to the station to whisk you to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot is handy, and it feels far better than the other hotel stops. The Monorail was the Contemporary’s first major draw and still gets guests going fifty years later.
