12. Swan

While a good resort, the Swan has always paled a bit next to its sister complex, the Dolphin. That includes size, as it’s far smaller and lacks some of the same charm. Also, as it’s technically a Marriott resort, that means you can redeem Marriott Rewards, but it lacks some Disney benefits like Magic Bands. Another qualm is the buses only drop you off at TTC, not the Magic Kingdom entrance.

But the Swan shares the same lavish pool area as the Dolphin, not to mention the fantastic location right between Epcot and the Hollywood Studios. So while the Dolphin may be larger, the Swan has its own benefits for Disney guests.

11. Saratoga Springs

The biggest incentive for Saratoga Springs is how close it is to the Disney Springs shopping area, either by water taxi or just a brisk walk. That allows guests to enjoy scores of dining and shopping options and good transport to the other parks. Saratoga’s own dining is great such as the Turf Club and poolside bars.

The biggest downside is the place is so large and split into five areas that it means a lot more walking than some guests will be ready for. Also, some might not be inclined to the equestrian theming the resort enjoys. But between the excellent food, the closeness to the golf courses, and the first-rate spa treatments, Saratoga Springs is a far better resort than most give it credit for.
