3. Port Orleans French Quarter

Once known simply as the Port Orleans, the theming makes this hotel as close to New Orleans as you can get without being there. The decor is gorgeous, from the lobby area to the rooms, and the music adds to it. The pool area is marked by the giant serpent whose tongue forms a slide and the water-shooting alligator figures.

For foodies, the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a nice sit-down restaurant, although some may find other dining options lacking. However, it's made up for by the walking trail, bike rentals, and movies under the stars. There's good transport with buses, Skyliner, and the ferry boat to Disney Springs. Thus, this resort is a good place for folks wanting a slice of the Big Easy in Disney World.
