Picture this: you are in the heart of the enchanting Disney's Coronado Springs Resort at the delicious and enchanting Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago, surrounded by the delicious aroma of fruity concoctions and the infectious laughter of fellow sangria enthusiasts. It's an irresistible invitation to dive into the world of sangria, and you simply cannot miss it.

Sangria University takes you on an informative and engaging journey through the world of this delectable Spanish elixir. As your instructor guides you through the history of sangria and it’s connection to Coronado Springs Resort, you'll get to taste an array of sensational combinations. Three Bridges Bar and Grill has four signature sangrias and you get a flight that includes them all. It's a sip-by-sip enlightening adventure.

But it's not just about the drinks. Sangria University is an interactive experience like no other. While this experience doesn’t include any characters or "typical" Disney magic, it is definitely not lacking in Disney charm. The mixologists are magical, meticulous and mindful. Their contagious energy and passion for all things sangria will have you laughing, learning, and feeling like a bona fide mixologist yourself.

Once you’ve sipped and learned you will get to put your knowledge to work and become your own mixologist. Whether you go the traditional route like I did, with a pineapple tequila sangria or you choose to think outside the box and create something like a peanut butter and jelly sangria (my husband had a very interesting take on sangria) you will end your lesson with an extra special treat.

Now, let's talk logistics. The starting cost of $59 per person (this includes tax and gratuity) for this enchanting escapade is absolutely worth every penny. Sangria University offers a fantastic value for the experience it delivers. There is an additional charge that will vary based on the Sangria you choose to make at the end your lesson.

This experience is 90 minutes and held on Saturdays and Sundays. Keep in mind that advanced reservations are required and they will fill up! Reservations open about 60 days prior, like other dining reservations. So, plan ahead and secure your spot to ensure you don't miss out. You can make your reservation online or through My Disney Experience. All participants must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID.
