LEGO really has been on a roll with its Disney-inspired LEGO sets and this week they revealed a new one that is sure to excite fans. The LEGO Ideas Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas set has officially been announced, just in time for Halloween. Or is it a Christmas movie?

Based on the iconic1993 film, the set brings beloved movie to life in brick-form. When constructed, the 2,000-plus piece set will leave you with three iconic locations from the classic stop-motion animated film: Disney's Spiral Hill, Jack Skellington's house, and Halloween Town Hall.

The three individual locations are brimming with intricate detail. Jack Skellington's house features a lift-off roof giving fans a peek into the Pumpkin King's Christmas formula. There's also a graveyard packed with ghoulish delight, as the buildings feature all sorts of hidden easter eggs.

The set includes a total of eight minifigures inspired by the film's characters: Jack Skellington, Sally, Santa Claus, Lock, Shock, Barrel, Zero the dog, and The Mayor (who can actually switch his face like in the movie).

Like all recent Disney-inspired sets, this one doesn't come cheap. The Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas set will cost $199.99 and is set to release on September 6, 2024. LEGO Insiders will have a chance to snag the set three days early on September 3, 2024.

Whether you choose to display it during Halloween or Christmas — or both! — this set is absolutely perfect for fans of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The set was actually part of the LEGO Ideas program and designed by superfan Simon Scott. Once it was designed, 10,000 people voted for it to be made into a real set — and so here we are!

This isn't the only Disney-inspired LEGO set that has stemmed from the LEGO Ideas program. Last year, LEGO released the Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage, a faithful recreation of the three witch sisters' houses from the beloved movie Hocus Pocus. I actually built this set — which costs $229.99 — and it's absolutely incredible!
