As the biggest park in Walt Disney World, the Animal Kingdom requires a lot of energy to get around. That means a good breakfast with some guests wanting a fast one for the day. Here’s the best spot in the Animal Kingdom for a quick breakfast to start your adventures.
The Animal Kingdom’s restaurant options are pretty unique to match the exotic park. They can range from Dinoland USA’s quirky sit-down spot to the more lavish Tusker House (the only character meals in the park) and Tiffins to the Satu’li Canteen and Harambe Market. That’s a good range if you want a sit-down meal, but with rides like Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage, some guests may not want to waste so much time.
That makes the Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe the best spot in the park for a fast breakfast. Note this is not the same establishment as the larger and more fancy Yak & Yeti, which is a great lunch or dinner spot. This is located nearby, a walk-up place right by Expedition Everest, thus making it a good location for those who want to get this huge ride out of the way early.
The big offering is a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, cheddar, breakfast potatoes, peppers and onions for $11.99. For one dollar more, you can add bacon or sausage to it. There are also English muffins, either just egg or with sausage.
Also on the breakfast menu is a fruit salad for $8.99 and a yogurt parfait for $9.99 with $4.99 hash brown bites. Kids meals can be either a pancake and sausage stick or French toast with sides of milk or juices for $9.49 each.
While a few pastry spots in the park can offer a decent treat, this Yak & Yeti cafe is a fine place to grab a quick breakfast and ensure your excursion through the Animal Kingdom starts off right.
