Where to get your Pumpkin Spice fix at Disney World
It's officially fall which now means it's socially acceptable to start indulging in anything and everything Pumpkin Spice. Personally, I don't care what they say, I've been sipping pumpkin spice cold brews since August.
But now that the temperature is starting to cool a little bit and it's starting to actually feel like fall, you may finally be feeling that pumpkin spice craving. So what can you do to satisfy that craving when visiting Walt Disney World?
Disney offers an array of delicious treats and drinks to successfully deliver that fall flavorful explosion. So get your flannel and your boots out and get ready for everything Disney has cooked up for all of us
Here's what Disney has cooked up for all of us basic pumpkin spice lovers.
Pumpkin-flavored Shakes
I'm not much of a pumpkin shake guy, but mostly because they are usually too filling. If you're looking for a thick, pumpkin-flavored milkshake, there are that must be atop your list. Unfortunately, neither are available at the actual parks themselves.
Pumpkin Pie Shake
Available at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs, the Pumpkin Pie Shake features vanilla gelato blended with pumpkin pie mix, caramel sauce, pumpkin spice, and graham cracker crumbles. It's topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice.
Butter Pecan-Pumpkin Shake
The Butter Pecan-Pumpkin Shake combines butter pecan ice cream and pumpkin flavoring with caramel and chocolate sauces. Topping it off is a vanilla cupcake decorated like a Mickey pumpkin.
This one is available at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop which may not be at a Disney park, but it's very easy to walk to from EPCOT. So if you're craving a pumpkin shake, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the back of the park.
If you've never been to Beaches & Cream, it's worth visiting even if you're not getting the pumpkin shake. They have the best ice cream desserts in all of Disney World.
Delectable Pumpkin Desserts
If you're looking for more of a quick pumpkin bite to enjoy while walking the parks, there's plenty of that as well.
Lunch Box Tart
This pumpkin-filled pastry tart topped with marshmallow candy corn and Halloween-colored sprinkles is available at Woody's Lunch Box in Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's one of the more simpler and portable pumpkin desserts.
Pumpkin Patch Cookie
Available at the Dockside Diner and Fairfax Fare in Disney's Hollywood Studios, these pumpkin-spiced snickerdoodles are topped with pumpkin-spiced buttercream and pumpkin candies.
Pumpkin Sugar Cookie
I'm not a fan of snickerdoodle, so I much prefer the more traditional pumpkin sugar cookie, available at Trail's End Restaurant in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It's a straightforward sugar cookie with buttercream frosting. Perfect, simple, and delicious.
Mickey Pumpkin Cheesecake
Pictured above, the Mickey Pumpkin Cheesecake can be found at the World Premiere Food Court, Intermission Food Court and End Zone Food Court at Disney's All-Star resorts. It's a pumpkin cheesecake-chocolate-ginger torte with almond crumble. Like Disney's other personal-sized cake desserts, this is the perfect size to fulfill your craving without leaving you overstuffed.
Apple Cider Slush with Pumpkin Soft Serve
If it's a cold fall day in Disney — which is rare — head over to Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs and enjoy this Apple Cider Slush with Pumpkin Soft Serve. Apple cider and pumpkin-flavored soft-serve, what could be more fall than this?! There's also an alcoholic version available that's make with Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey.
Not-So-Scary Pumpkin Soft-serve
A more straight-forward desert, this is pumpkin-spiced flavored soft-serve and coconut haupia topped with a caramel drizzle, graham cracker crumbs and a white chocolate Mickey-shaped pumpkin — available at Pineapple Lanai in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Pumpkin Spiced Coffee
If you're not a fan of all the pumpkin-flavored sweets, and much prefer the traditional pumpkin spiced coffees, there are Starbucks and Joffrey's Coffe & Tea Co. shops scattered throughout the parks. There's at least one of each in every Disney World park, so you can still get your Pumpkin Spice Latte (I prefer the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew) or the Pumpkin Pie Latte.
