Will Disney have two attractions at Magic Kingdom using the Virtual Queue system? They might

Currently there are two attractions at Disney World parks that utilize the "virtual queue" system. Soon there may be a third.

This summer, Tiana's Bayou Adventure will open and when it does, it makes sense to add a virtual queue given the immediate and expected popularity of the attraction. No other re-imagined attraction in the history of Disney World has come with so much attention.

A virtual queue will not make guests happy. The process as it is now leans in the favor of guests staying at a Disney property. They have a 30-minute headstart to land a VQ. They can start at 6:30 am whereas the other guests can't get one until 7:00 am and as we all know, it can be pretty difficult.

Two rides currently use the VQ system. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and Tron: Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom. Will Disney open Tiana's Bayou Adventure with the same VQ system?

What will be more interesting is whether or not Disney would have two VQ attractions in the same park. It was reported in early March that Disney sent out a survey to random guests who had ridden Tron. The questions were geared toward whether or not they liked or disliked the VQ for the attraction.

Now that Tiana's is getting closer to opening, perhaps Disney was looking at the potential of removing the VQ for Tron and assigning it to Tiana's instead. That would make a lot of sense. Unlike Guardians, Tron hasn't had the same fervor and incredible reception.

As Tiana's gets closer to opening, we should start to hear more about the plans for how guests will be able to ride the attraction.
