Every Disney fan worth their salt has been to the parks at least once, and it doesn't take a genius to tell you what a magical time a Disney vacation can be. However, all magic comes at a price, and a trip to Disneyland or the Walt Disney World Resort is a hefty investment.
That being said, vacation planning is simply a must, regardless of how long a party stays. Whether it's the first or 101st time, Disney's latest announcement might do more than help guests chart their next trip, and all it will take is a Disney+ subscription.
Disney announces 16 new POV experiences
If you're already a Disney+ subscriber, you know that the House of Mouse has a bevy of magical content ready at just the tap of a screen. This includes many specials and series uncovering the Disney Parks. One such addition includes the Park POV series that gives the viewer a first-hand experience of a Disney ride or attraction.
So far, the primary one available is Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge, but a recent development shared that 16 new Parks POVs would be coming to Disney+ this summer in honor of Disneylands 70th anniversary.
For many, this will be a valuable tool in planning their first or next Disneyland vacation, a sort of sneak peek at what they can expect from attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, and the Incredicoaster, just to name a few. For others, it will be an immersive way to scratch that Disney Park itch between trips.
In this writer's opinion, it feels like Disney is extending the Parks' reach beyond their typical advertisements. In theory, fans can have an entire day at Disneyland without ever leaving their living rooms.
While this is all very exciting, this writer can't help but feel like something else is happening here. Something else is happening and Disney is teasing fans with a bit of magical bait to tide them over. Whatever it is, it's sure to be absolutely massive.
The new Parks POVs hit Disney+ this July.
