Mickey Mouse is an American icon and apparently, he isn't too fond of parents not watching their kids. At least when you get in trouble with Mr. Mouse, he scolds you with a smile on your face.

In a recent video posted on social media platform "X", Mickey was enjoying a walk among the crowds in his halloween costume when he knocked over a toddler who ran up behind him. Of course, Mickey was the first to help the child up while the cast members stood beside him.

You can watch it all unfold below and then ask yourself, was Mickey wrong in what he did next?

Mickey made it all look fun, and personally, I say, "Good for Mickey Mouse." A little parenting can go a long way. Clearly, Mickey wasn't too concerned that the child ran into him and was attentive to his needs, but when he searched for a parent, the father was not paying much attention, and so Mickey took his phone.

Hopefully, the father learned a little something that day. As a parent of a rambunctious 5-year-old, I know full well that keeping kids on a leash when they see their favorite Disney character can be hard. Sometimes, admittedly, I have to use one of those wrist leashes.

Still, I tend to chase him down before he gets into trouble. Guests are typically amazed by how many children are not supervised. There have been punches thrown by children at characters; they have literally tried to remove their heads, and more often than not, there is pulling, tugging, and worse as the characters walk by, many times unsupervised.

Disney is not a daycare or a school. It's a family theme park and instances like what was shown above are cute, the parents reaction after the incident was the problem and given the number of replies on the "X" thread, they all felt the same way as well.
