It's hard to believe that we're just a few days away from the New Year. While I'm sure many of you have already started to plan your 2025 Disney World vacations, those who haven't yet may be interested to know that the Disney After Hours event is returning next year.
Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT will all have After Hours events throughout the year. We've already covered Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, but below you'll find the dates for Magic Kingdom in 2025.
- January 6, 13, 20 and 27
- February 3, 10, 17 and 24
- March 3, 17, 24 and 31
- April 7 and 28
- May 5, 12 and 19
Disney's Magic Kingdom will have a total of 17 After Hours events throughout 2025. Of course, this does not include the dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which usually take place from August to December. These are specially themed after hours events though, while the standard After Hours event just give you extra time in the park after it closes.
For those unfamiliar, After Hours is a separately ticketed event available to a limited number of guests. Guests are able to enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m. and stay three hours after the park closes (10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.). While this may not sound like a ton of time, the limited number of guests allowed means shorter wait times for attractions and character meet-and-greets, so you should be able to experience everything you want to do at least once. Additionally, the ticket includes unlimited snacks like ice cream, popcorn and select drinks.
Tickets to Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park vary, but range in price from $175 to $185 per ticket. These prices are high, no doubt, but Disney after dark is one of my favorite times and the lesser crowds is a much more pleasant experience, so I'd say it's worth the money if you can splurge. Heck, there's even an argument to be made that After Hours is a better overall experience than paying for a full day at the Magic Kingdom when you may not even get to ride everything.
